LPG e-KYC Before August 15: 3 Easy Ways to Complete Aadhaar Verification

LPG consumers who have not yet completed their Aadhaar-based biometric e-KYC are being urged to finish the process before the August 15, 2026 deadline reported in several locations. The process is important for customers whose LPG authentication is still pending, particularly those receiving government-linked subsidy benefits.

2. Complete e-KYC When the Cylinder Is Delivered

You may not need to visit an LPG agency at all.

The government has confirmed that customers can complete biometric Aadhaar authentication during cylinder delivery. The delivery personnel can use the authorised device to conduct the authentication at the customer's doorstep.

This can be especially useful for elderly customers or people who are not comfortable completing the digital process themselves.

When your next cylinder arrives, ask the delivery person whether biometric Aadhaar authentication can be completed through the delivery device. If your account is eligible and the facility is available, the verification can be done without making a separate trip to the distributor.
