Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath has invested ₹200 crore in CtrlS Datacenters, as the Indian hyperscale data centre operator raised a total of ₹250 crore from two prominent entrepreneurs. Entrepreneur Sreeram Reddy Vanga invested the remaining ₹50 crore, according to CtrlS.

The fresh capital comes at a crucial time for India's data centre industry. Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, digital services and rising data-storage requirements are driving demand for large-scale computing infrastructure, prompting operators to commit billions of rupees to new capacity.
